Leadership Development: How to Become a Better Trainer. Once we have mastered the content of what we are teaching, we often can't focus on increasing our training skills. Many teachers, trainers or developers reach a level of expertise in their field and then put their training on probation. But great trainers are great students of training practices. If you really want to have a leadership development impact on others, you must always grow as a trainer. Leading a gear session can involve several twists and turns and a good trainer can adapt and use the surprise moments as ways to develop their training. In this video I share three disciplines that I use to help me grow in my leadership development skills.
