How do you start thinking about designing for augmented or mixed reality? All you need is your imagination and a big dose of curiosity. Some basic user interface skills are also helpful, but not necessary.

Creating a UX/UI case study with these types of interactions usually requires some time and energy. But it's a big effort to stand out from the crowd and show that you're not afraid to think outside the box.

An important thing to remember is that your thought process here doesn't have to be perfect. You don't have to confirm all your assumptions and theories. What it's all about is setting the expectations and then going through a design process to figure out which of those expectations can even be met.

It's about the journey, not the final design.

And of course, I could have tweaked it further, and added more great visuals at the end, but that might have overshadowed the true idea behind this case study.

Being curious. To think in new ways. Try it!

Apple's Vision Pro headset, along with the new Oculus headsets, will become a niche worth jumping into. There aren't many people doing this kind of exploration right now, so it's definitely worth trying.
