I finally made a decision and purchased the LIFX Smart LED Bulbs. I was unsure about which brand to buy. The LIFX smart LED is very bright, with 1100 lumens you will have no problems with the brightness. If you think this is too bright, don't worry: the lights are dimmable. You can also change the light temperature (2500 K – 9000 K), colors (16 mill) and intensity. These are the features I needed in my studio and that's why I bought them.

According to LIFX, this smart bulb has a lifespan of 22.8 years when used 3 hours per day. Of course, your results may vary. The estimated annual energy costs are 1.32 per 3 hours/day. This smart lamp does not require a hub or existing smart home. Simply screw your lamp into a standard socket, connect the lamp to your WiFi, download the app and you are ready to go. Now if you have a smart home such as Apple's Home, Smart Things, Nest, Alexa or Google's Smart Home, you can connect the lights quite easily. Setting up with the app wasn't smooth, but it could have been worse. Exercise a little patience while setting up the app and enjoy!

I paid 60.00 at the time of this video, which I don't think is a bad price compared to other brands. In fact, I'm so happy with LIFX that I'll put them all over my house if money allows.
