Metaverse marketing has revolutionized the way companies interact with consumers, blurring the lines between virtual and physical experiences. Technology has changed and grown extremely quickly. We see new ideas that we had never thought of before. Many people think the metaverse is one of these new ideas. It is a unique, immersive virtual world that is quickly taking over the internet. You may have first seen it in science fiction films such as the series /"Ready Player One/" or "The Matrix/", but now it is not just a story.
Metaverses are making their way to the internet as virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) become more popular. It is estimated that by 2021, approximately 85 million people will use AR or VR at least once a month. While the Metaverse isn't exactly what science fiction has made it out to be, it has a lot of value as a new computing platform.
One thing is that it seems like all the top media is on board. Even tech futurist and metaverse strategist Cathy Hackl has her own column in Forbes. Metaverse Investment Fund Metaverse ATF is the name of an existing fund (NYSE: META). All this shows that metaverses are becoming increasingly important at the moment.
And the message seems to be getting through. When you type /"metaverse/" into Google, you get 677,000 results. On Instagram, the hashtag #metaverse is used in more than 60,000 posts, and on Twitter more than 500 times per hour.
