Closure Systems International Inc., a world-leading supplier of closures for consumer and industrial products based in Crawfordsville, Indiana, experienced growing demand for its caps and needed to increase production while optimizing operations.

The company chose to automate its manual production process and installed a fully automated end-of-line packaging system from Motion Controls Robotics using FANUC robots. Watch more and see how automation resulted in a 25 percent increase in cap production for CSI!

The new automated system includes several FANUC robot models, including an M-20iA/35M for erecting crates, an LR Mate 200iD/4S to inspect crates and ensure they are properly taped, an M-410iC/315 on a rail for palletizing/stacking product in box and an M-410iB/140H for handling pallets/dung material.
