If you're new to my channel, my name is Alex Hormozi. I am the founder and managing partner of Acquisition.com. It's a family office, which is just a formal way of saying we invest our own money in companies. Our 10 portfolio companies bring in more than 200,000,000 euros per year. Our ownership interest varies between 20% and 100% of it. Since this is a YT channel and anyone can claim anything, I'll give you some things you can google below to verify.

How I got here…

21: Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Vanderbilt in 3 years and took a great consulting job.
23 years old: left my nice consulting job to start a business (a gym).
24 years old: 5 gym locations opened.
26 years old: 6th gym closed. Lost everything.
26 years old: Started launching gyms again (launched 33). Then lost everything for the second time.
26 years old: In desperation, started using the Hail Mary licensing model. It worked.
27 years old: /"Gym Launch/" makes 3M profits in the next 6 months. Then 17 million profit the next 12 months.
28 years old: started Prestige Labs. 20 million the first year.
29 years old: Launch of ALAN, a software company that helps agencies generate leads for clients. Scaled up to 1.7 mmo within 6 months.
31 years old: 75% of UseAlan sold to a strategic buyer in an all-stock deal.
31 years old: Sold 66% of Gym Launch & Prestige Labs at a 46.2 million cash valuation to American Pacific Group. (you can google it)
31 years old: Started our family office Acquisition.com. We invest and scale up companies using the 42 million in benefits from which we took the money from the 46.2 million exit.
32 years old: Started creating free content that shows how we grow businesses to make real business education accessible to everyone (and) attract business owners to invest or scale their business.
34 years old: I became co-owner of https://Skool.com to help the many people who want to start a business online.

Today: Our portfolio now does 200 million per year between 10 companies. The largest does 100 million per year, the smallest does 5 million per year. Our ownership varies between 20% and 100% ownership of the companies. Many of them we invested in early on and helped grow (that's how we make our money – not YouTube videos).

To all the gladiators in the arena: we are all writing our own stories. The worse the monsters, the more epic the story.

You either get an epic result or an epic story. Both mean you win.
