One in four lights does not turn on and off via the app occasionally and is often shown as offline.

I have reset the light, turned it off and on, removed and re-added it, and even flashed the /"special/" firmware that Lifx support sent me. So far I have tried it in 4 sockets on 3 separate circuits (I tried one more after I recorded the video) all with the same problem. None of the other 3 lights have this problem.

I finished the process last night. It took a while for the light to come on before I could update the firmware, but it finally worked.

This morning it was offline again.

I want to emphasize again that this feels like a hardware fault in the lamp. If you press on the side or loosen the bulb from the socket (I have tried three ways so far) the lamp will turn on intermittently.

So Lifx wants a video of the behavior… Here it is.

I hope you have better luck with your expensive WiFi bulbs than I did with these Lifx bulbs.
