Alternative fuel experts from Clean Cities and Communities Coalitions (part of the U.S. Department of Energy) and the Southeast Energy Efficiency Alliance (SEEA) provided an overview of the differences between alternative fuels (such as electric batteries, natural gas, propane and others ), including its benefits and challenges, and its use in transit applications. Participants also learned about the Clean Cities and Communities Coalition program and how to find the nearest Clean Cities Coalition serving their jurisdiction.
