It's time to bring people to your Microsoft team. You've created a space that supports teamwork from the moment you accept the invitation to the team. But let's talk about that invitation. When people are added as members of a team, they receive an email from Microsoft. There's no context other than the team name and a description if you added one.
Send an introductory email that gives your team members more context for the invitation. Set the tone for teamwork by creating a welcome message and scheduling your first meeting in the General channel to agree on some standards and start co-creating the team.
