OnX Off-Road and GAIA GPS are the best mapping/off-road apps/software. This video is both a tutorial and a comparison between the two programs. I have my favorite, which is different from what I hear non-stop on my news feed and from other off-road YouTubers, but I'll show you both so you can make your own decision. The video is broken down into how I use it; Trail navigation, overland trip planning and off-road trail finding.

Channel members have access to our film schedule and I want you to be in the videos! The Black Bear crew gets additional, easy-to-edit videos, but offers more up-to-date information on routes (since the guides take a while to put together). The Holy Cross crew will have more control over which videos are edited for the channel (video credits and early looks at Trail Guide edits). https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZNhgEStKFcR_H63ivHKVUg/join

Colorado Mallcrawlers is an off-road/overland channel featuring a railroad traveler and his friends. We love driving and making videos! Unfortunately, we are limited in video production due to the railroad's crazy schedule, but our goal is to always publish the best we can. I hear people asking us to publish more, so I'm definitely trying. Anyway, we would like to have you as a subscriber, because I want to show all these beautiful routes to more people.

Please take the opportunity to connect and share this video with your friends and family if you find it useful.
