Waze maps
Advantages
*Displays the vehicle speed plus the current speed on the road.
*Powered by a Google community.
*Simple user interface, easy reporting of traffic, crashes, incidents etc.
* Search bar at the bottom of the app, so you can easily enter the address.
*Better graphical representation of maps
*Search by gas station to see current price.
Disadvantages:
* only works if you have an internet connection, useless if you don't have internet.
* You can only add 1 stop.
Google Maps
Advantages:
* You can now report accidents and speed cameras on Google Maps.
*Standard maps with lots of local information, businesses, traffic, events and road works.
*Ability to download maps.
* Offline navigation when there is no internet connection, provided you have downloaded an area beforehand.
* Voice search is excellent, Google listens very well.
*Speed warnings and speed cameras coming soon.
Disadvantages:
*User interface needs updating, not easy to use.
*Roll out speed camera warnings and speed limits to all Google Maps apps.
