1. To reset the lamp, it must be on a standard on/off switch. Dimmer switches, variable power setting switches such as low, medium, high and ceiling fan lights cannot support the smart lights for reset or standard operation. Lamps with rotating cranks can make it difficult to turn the lamp off and on quickly enough to ensure the reset. Make sure the lamp is on the best possible switch to ensure success.
2. Once the lamp is on the correct switch, turn the lamp off and on again at least 5 times, with off and on counting as one time. You can turn it on and off more than 5 times to make sure you reach the minimum number.
3. Leave the lamp on the last time you turn it on.
4. If the lamp has been reset correctly, it will flash white 2 times.
5. After the lamp is reset, it will remain in pairing mode for 3 minutes. You can turn the light off to stop the 3 minute timer, but the light must be on to be discovered. Make sure you enable it before searching with your app.
