When you first see your baby doing this, you may feel the urge to stop him because you worry about the possible downsides. But while there are drawbacks, the development benefits far outweigh them. For that reason, I highly recommend letting your baby suck on their fingers/mouth and hands rather than holding them back.

In this video you'll learn why it's an important part of their development, and how it helps with things like nourishing, soothing, benefits their immune system and more.

As always, I hope you find this useful!
