The Resource Capacity Planner template is designed to determine available resource capacity, compare it to demand, and identify excess/shortage of capacity. It also allows us to adjust the availability or demand of resources (to meet our objectives) and immediately see the impact of the changes.
This workforce planning tool can be used in different contexts.

For example, an HR manager or team manager can use this to plan the capacity of the team on a monthly basis and thus determine how much work can be picked up and completed. A project manager working on a multi-month project can plan the project's resource capacity for its entire duration.

Limits
Standard: Up to 200 resources, 100 skill groups, 100 projects, and 200 holidays.
