In this video I explain quality control in RNA-Seq analysis.

We can use any quality control tool, for example FastQC, Trim Glore. FastQC is a tool used for the quality assessment of NGS data. After checking the quality of the FastQC data, we will use the Fastp tool to trim the adapter sequences and filter the data. Fastp is a data preprocessing tool. It has features for quality control, adapter trimming, quality filtering, read pruning and multi-threading. After cropping the data, we check the data quality again using FastQC.

Quality control and data preprocessing are important for data analysis because raw data produced after sequencing must be processed so that the results do not produce false positive and false negative results. Data preprocessing not only evaluates each analysis step, but also reduces the number of low-quality sequence reads or adapter-contaminated sequence reads.
