This video lecture is about GPS navigation message. GPS development has been discussed, together with GPS principles and GPS technical structure. GPS satellites transmit two microwave carrier signals: L1 frequency (1575.42 MHz) carries the navigation message and SPS code signals & L2 frequency (1227.60 MHz), used to measure ionosphere delay by PPS equipped receivers.
Standard Positioning Service (SPS) & Precise Position Service (PPS) are explained. Structure of GPS Navigation Data are drawn and explained in detail. The navigation data record is divided into three data blocks and all three blocks are discussed.
