This video lecture is about Attitude & Orbit Control System (AOCS). This subsystem consists of four main components: sensors, trajectory control system, propulsion system and attitude control system. They are all explained.
A propulsion system consists of three units: low-thrust actuators, high-thrust motors, and space shuttle launch vehicles; they have all been discussed.
Postural control can be of two types: passive and active; both have been described. The controls required for attitude control are discussed. At the end, two stabilization methods, namely: Spin Stabilization and Tri-axis Body Stabilization, have been discussed in detail.
