Sengled with Alexa – Amazon Echo Plus and Sengled bulbs – connected and working together

In this video I show you how to connect your Sengled smart bulbs to your Amazon Echo Plus and Amazon Alexa. Alexa can control your Sengled bulbs without the need for a Sengled Hub as long as you have an Amazon Echo Plus with Zigbee. This is a Sengled Alexa setup tutorial video that you can follow along with.

Your Sengled and Alexa work quite well together if you connect them via the Smart Home feature in the Alexa app on your iOS or Android device. Since I'm using an Echo Plus with a Zigbee Hub onboard, there's no requirement for a Sengled Element Classic Hub. It's just Sengled to Alexa directly, and your voice can control it all from there.

If you don't have an Echo Plus, you can also connect to Alexa using another Zigbee hub. In this video, I'll show you how to use your Samsung SmartThings hub to make that connection and then connect that to Alexa. That way, an Echo Dot or an Echo can control your Sengled lights.

Ultimately, the interface between your Amazon Echo Plus and your Sengled Element Classic bulbs is excellent and provides a great experience controlling your smart home.
