We are proud that Gospel Ononwi, an experienced AR/VR developer and XR instructor, will lead the TikTok Effect House Track for this year’s XR Innovation Launchpad program.

Under Gospel’s expert guidance, the 100 selected participants will gain hands-on experience designing custom TikTok AR filters and immersive experiences using their mobile devices and computers.

This session’s guest speaker is Jeremy Dalton, Head of Immersive Technologies at PwC UK. Jeremy has worked with organisations such as the World Economic Forum and currently sits on the advisory board of Immerse UK, which supports businesses in exploring immersive technologies. He will share impactful use cases and applications of XR across industries, along with future projections for immersive technologies on a global scale.

About the XR Innovation Launchpad Program 2024

The XR Innovation Launchpad, an initiative of Immersive Tech Africa, is designed to equip emerging talent and creators with the skills they need to thrive. This 10-week hybrid training program aims to launch careers in Extended Reality (XR) technology across Africa. With XR becoming increasingly important in sectors ranging from education to entertainment, this program aims to bridge the technical and creative skills gap in the XR field and foster innovation across the continent.
