Most heaters work simply by turning them on and off. They don't actually have different temperatures. One of the first tasks that many people have when starting out with home automation is collecting data – in this case the temperature. Once your Arduino Cloud knows what the temperature is in the room, it can turn your heaters on and off, acting as a smart thermostat.
