Demo of Stand Alone Kinematics profiles on Orca magnetic linear motors

Force-controlled and force-feedback linear actuators (motors) are now easier than ever to integrate into your robotics, automation, teleportation or simulation applications.
Orca series motors are equipped with a kinematic controller that allows motion profiles to be stored directly on the motor. These profiles allow movement to an axis position over a period of time. Kinematic movements can be activated using software or by a hardware trigger, such as a button or signal. Up to 32 movements can be stored on a single Orca Series motor.

Let's see if we can make it a little cooler. Okay, so from here we can enable hardware triggering, save that, disconnect the motor from the computer, turn off the power… and if we just set where we want our zero position to be, then turn the power back on and the movement is saved
