Where should startups look first when it comes to financing robotics prototypes?
Welcome to Ask an Angel, where Angel Investor Jonathan Hung answers questions about founders, startups and seed investments.

This week's question is:
What are the best fundraising and investment channels for robotics company prototype development?

Most investors expect seed money for prototypes to come from the family and friends of the startup founder. When it comes to the second phase of prototype funding, it's best to look for non-diluted grants. There are pitch competitions where founders can apply for grants or submit grant applications to universities.
