In this webinar you will learn how to plan and prepare a successful grant application from two tribal communities.

Representatives from the Oneida Indian Nation and Forest County Potawatomi Community guide us through their project planning process and share tips for submitting a successful grant application.

The Office of Indian Energy also shares opportunities and resources to support your energy vision, including free technical assistance, policies affecting tribal engagement with utilities, and financing options.

*Correction: During the webinar at timecode 1:50:30, a question was asked about Community Benefit Plans (CBPs) for tax credits. We replied that there are no CBPs for tax credits, which is not entirely correct. Some tax credits impose requirements on prevailing wages, apprenticeships, and benefits flowing to communities (e.g., Section 48c, 48e) that have a similar intent to CBP requirements for DOE grants.
