Since I started with the point that children learn easily and forget quickly, I have worked a lot on teaching vocabulary to young students by improving their memory skills. When it comes to memory, it's worth looking to the brain. During my search, I found that as long as the teachers meet the needs of the young brain, it is easier for the students to remember new vocabulary items. In this presentation I plan to share my findings and ten practical brain-based activities that I use in my classes and that are very effective.
