It's been in production for over four years now, but the technical changes under the skin of the Polestar 2 for the 2024 model year have dramatically changed the personality of this Swedish-designed, Chinese-built EV – for the better!

With 50 kW more power, 160 Nm more torque and 103 km extra WLTP range (now 654 km), this Single Motor Long Range version offers much more on paper than its predecessor. And as we publish this video (Aug '24), it costs $63,900, excluding Australian usage charges, which also adds to its appeal.

But best of all, it's now rear-wheel drive and has a significantly less taxing ride, meaning it finally handles and drives like a 'premium' EV should.
