The most expensive part of the trip is usually the accommodations/hotels. For a small furnished box they can easily give you $200 a night. When I recently wanted to take a trip to Hawaii, all the hotels were $400+ per night and it was just ABSURD! So I found these mysterious deals on hotwire.com, but I was determined that there MUST be a way to find out about the hotel before you book… turns out there is, and it's pretty simple. In today's video, I tested this hack a few times, proved it to be true, and ended up saving over $1,800 during my trip.
A written explanation of the hack:
1. Find the hotwire mystery deal of the day
2. Review the deals of the day reviews and ANY other details they give you. Such as location, daily resort fee, number of reviews. Sometimes they give you more details than others.
3. Find the other hotels on the website with the same review number and link them to the mystery hotel. To do this, you need to go to the reviews of each hotel and compare its condition, service, cleanliness, etc. THESE MUST ALL MATCH EXACTLY WITH THE MYSTERY HOTEL. Once you have found the hotel that matches these reviews and is in the same location, you have found the mystery hotel!
4. Search the hotel's room rates online to ensure you get the lowest possible price.
5. Book the hotel, be amazed that it actually works and enjoy your trip! 🙂
