It's okay to think about privacy. You'll likely be filming from your home, so make sure you're not sharing private spaces like a bedroom or toilet.
Cleanliness. Your space can reflect your habits! If the interviewer sees a neat room, they can assume that you are an organized person! It's also much less distracting because they'll be focusing on you and not the hustle and bustle of your background.
This is also an opportunity to share something about your personality! It's a window into your world. Whether you're a plant lover, a sports enthusiast, an avid reader or someone who enjoys pottery, the interviewer will get to know you before you even open your mouth.
People want to know the REAL you, so find the courage to be REAL instead of relying on virtual backgrounds. Subconsciously it feels like you're hiding something… so take the time to create a #virtualbackground that celebrates the amazing person you are.
