We now have smart home assistants like Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. Will smart robot butlers become a reality in the future? Mohit Shridhar, a Computer Engineering alumnus from the class of 2017, developed an interaction system that allows users to control their robots through verbal instructions. Mohit developed his interaction system INGRESS with #NUSComputing Professor David Hsu in 2018 and continues to work on robot butlers while pursuing his PhD at the University of Washington. #NUSResearch
