Personal expressive writing is a simple and powerful self-care tool, available free to all of us, that promotes healing, stress reduction, personal growth, and inner peace. In our grief-negative culture that celebrates positivity over vulnerability as we now face global uncertainty, writing can be a useful tool that builds resilience by allowing us to give voice to our messy inner lives and negative emotions. Writing is a way to release storylines and memories that keep us stuck so we can write powerful self-stories. Formerly a university professor and physician, he now organizes writing retreats in Mission Beach and writing webinars worldwide.
