Microsoft Teams is getting a makeover… but not that much of a makeover.

A new Microsoft Teams is coming to your Microsoft 365 world. How will it be different?

️ Faster! Ever noticed that Teams was a little slow to open and sometimes took a while to join meetings? The new Teams promises to be twice as fast (and uses 50% less of your computer’s memory).

️Improvements for people who have access to multiple organizations. Now you have to log in and out of each organization. But the new Teams shows you notifications from all your organizations without you having to log in and out.

️And it should be more secure and work better in virtual desktop environments.

Want to try out the new Teams?

There is a beta (test) version that you can try. In the upper right corner of your Microsoft Teams you may see a switch that says:

/"Try the new Teams/" – just turn it on or off!

If the switch isn't there, you may need to enable it in the Teams admin portal.
