Anyone who comes from or even used another NLE knows that Avid Media Composer has its own quirky way of managing proxies in its workflow. Respect it and you will have a much smoother operation. Don't follow it the way Avid requires, and…you could be in for a rough time!

In this video I go through the entire process. I explain to you what the Proxy workflow is, between offline and online editing. I'll show you how to create proxies and how to relink them to the source once you've locked your edit.
