Content description:
In the past, the focus of the discussion around certainty in projects has been on ensuring that everything that needs to be covered is covered, but without inefficient duplication. This webinar took place on Tuesday, April 28, 2020.

The existence of security as a necessity has been a given, although field wars and debates over when and how to do this have been common. More recently, however, there has been debate about whether there is enough or too much certainty; what degree of guarantee for project success does security entail; and how can we get the best value from certainty? These questions are difficult to answer.

During this lecture the topic was broken down into elements to make it easier to cover; proposed a way to better understand the relationships between assurance and project success; and looked at future trends in security that will impact its value.
