Television news is the intersection of literary storytelling and visual arts, all wrapped up in a time-sensitive package. Many aspiring TV news editors and photojournalists find many of the "secrets" of their work shrouded in mystery and find very few or limited resources on the Internet.

This webinar will introduce you to TV news terminology and the editing techniques used in the ENG (Electronic News Gathering) world of the newsroom. We'll also unravel many of the newsroom and shooting secrets. In addition, you will learn how to edit news stories, called packages, including voice-overs and sound bites used during a news broadcast.

In the local newsroom, working against the clock is the life and death of the news business. An efficient and fast workflow is therefore of the utmost importance.
