One of the first things I did when I discovered Shotcut was try to make cinematic travel videos. I love the amazing transitions and crossfades that other editors can create, and I looked for ways to replicate this on Shotcut. One of the most common cinematic transitions was the cinematic zoom transition effect. After some careful trial and error, I finally settled on my favorite zoom transition process. There are other things you can do to make the zoom transition in Shotcut even nicer, but this tutorial gets the job done.
