About the course
CommCare is a customizable, open source cloud-based app that allows non-programmers to do this
building mobile applications for data collection. It can also be deployed on Android devices
such as in the cloud and other mobile phones. This app is often integrated with other platforms
such as ArcGIS, Power Bi (for geographic data analysis and advanced visualization. Most
NGOs use the CommCare App to collect, report and store data online or offline. CommCare loves
keeping track of field workers' activities and beneficiaries' details, complete with photos, signatures, GPS
coordinates and more. This knowledge gives you unique mobile applications
powered by CommCare that meets their technological capacity and program requirements.
CommCare's core purpose is to carry out case management, delivery and administration
of surveys. To enhance your preparation for this course, you are expected to have an Android phone
Once the CommCare application is installed, it is open source.
