What exactly is medical writing?

We like to think of #MedicalWriting as an umbrella term for any piece of writing that communicates any form of health information.

This health information can be aimed at different target groups, such as:

Healthcare professionals such as doctors, dentists, pharmacists and nurses
Patients or the general public
Teachers and researchers
Companies that may want to invest

You can produce different types of writing, such as:

Long-form content, such as video scripts, magazine articles, magazine publications, blogs or educational courses
Short-form content, such as social media captions on Instagram or LinkedIn posts

Medical writing includes:

Medical communications – known as #MedComms
Marketing or sales – known as #MedicalCopywriting
Clinical trials, research and drug approval – known as #RegulatoryWriting
Journalism or educational writing

Above all, we trust #MedicalWriters to create accurate, well-researched content and update regularly when necessary.
