As Deputy Director of USDA, Dr. Robert Post responsible for overseeing the planning, development and revision of the 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans, and supporting programs including the Healthy Eating Index and the USDA Food Plans. He has also led USDA's efforts to make the MyPyramid Food Guidance System at MyPyramid.gov the most accessible federal website in history. Dr. Post oversees the design and implementation of the government's new MyPlate food icon, the new ChooseMyPlate.gov website and the associated multimodal, multi-year consumer communications campaign on dietary guidelines.
