In this video I show you how to create a visual facial scanning effect with Hitfilm Express. This is one of the most used visual effects in science fiction films that gives the atmosphere of a futuristic touch.

To create this effect, I first used motion capture on a human face. I then used a grid system and lighting and electricity effects. Finally, after applying some color adjustments, you will get a nice facial scanning effect.
