The women in our Skills Training program were able to attend a special daylong workshop on making paper bags!

This course is just one of the many courses offered to the mothers and elder sisters of the children at our Beacon Learning Centers in four slums in Mumbai.

Women learn skills like dressmaking, mehendi (henna art), beautician capsule course, skill-based and semi-skilled training like bangle making, fashion jewelry etc.

These skills help women beneficiaries find sustainable employment, leading to greater financial stability in their families and reduced vulnerability for themselves and their children.

This is to support many more children in education by empowering their families!
