The Domain Name System (DNS) is a crucial part of the Internet infrastructure because it links human-readable names to IP addresses. By injecting rogue mappings, an attacker can redirect user access from intended destinations to the attacker's chosen destinations. This research shows that many home routers are vulnerable to trivial record injection attacks. The growing number of home routers acting as open solvers presents a new attack surface and we suggest that action is needed
