Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is addressing a joint meeting of Congress for the first time since Hamas' terrorist attack on Israel killed 1,200 people and resulted in the hostage taking to Gaza, where around 100 people are reportedly still being held captive. Netanyahu's speech comes at a critical time as the US is in the midst of a chaotic election year and the Biden administration continues to push negotiators toward a ceasefire deal that could end the war in Gaza, where more than 39,000 people have died. This was reported by the Hamas-led Ministry of Health.
