There are two important points here: long videos and multiple videos.

If you’ve used WeChat and tried posting videos to your Moments, you might have noticed that you can’t post videos longer than 10 seconds. This is the first limitation. What I used to do was split my long videos into multiple shorter ones. This approach is time-consuming and frustrating.

The second limitation is that you can only include up to 9 photos in one post, but you can only include one video in one shot. So I often ended up posting 5-6 videos in 5-6 posts for one event on my Moments. Again, this is time consuming, frustrating for you, and confusing for your friends too.

The procedure described here will help you to post multiple long videos in one post on your Moments. This can save you a lot of time, feel satisfied while watching your elegant post. In the meantime, it will help your friends to quickly figure out what you are trying to tell them.

That's all for the introduction. Let's get to the point.

Step 1: Send the videos to yourself in /"Chats/"
– Go to the /"Chats/" tab, search for your name
– Add the necessary text and comments as you wish: you should do this, because you can edit the text later in /"Note/"
– Add at least one photo: it's nice to have, so that there's a meaningful thumbnail in your post, instead of a generic cube that's the symbol of Favorites. But you can also add it later. I'm skipping this advice here on purpose, so we'll find out how to do it later.
– Add multiple videos

Step 2: Add to favorites
– Select the text, photos and videos
– Click the cube icon to save the selection to Favorites

Step 3: Convert to /"Note/"
– Go to the tab called /"Me/"
– Select /"Favorites/"
– Click or tap on the newly added item
– Click on the /"…/" icon at the top right of the screen
– Select /"Save as Note/": it will become a new item with /"Note/" in front
– Click on /"Note/": inspect the content, change the text if necessary. Make sure to add at least one photo so there is a meaningful thumbnail when you later place the Note in Moments.

Step 4: Post on /"Moments/"
– When you are satisfied, click the /"…/" icon again
– Select /"Share to Moments/"
– Add a title and description for this post

Finished!

In short, the trick is to use the /"Note/" functionality in /"Moments/".

You might be wondering: why don't we use /"Note/" directly?

Here's the answer: if you're starting from scratch, yes, you can add a blank note right away. Indeed, in the Favorites screen, you can press the plus icon to add a note. But if the videos are sent by others, it's easier to use my procedure.

Thanks for watching!
