Pacific Island countries are working together to shape a new path to sustainable development through policy, advocacy and leadership at local, national and global levels. While policy refers to ideas, strategies, plans, and lines of action to address climate change, advocacy describes the activities that influence decision makers at home and abroad. Leadership refers to the ability to influence and unite a group or organization.
