What is drip marketing?
Drip marketing is a marketing strategy that consists of splitting any form of marketing communication (emails, phone calls, social media posts, brochures or printed flyers, etc.) into a series of 'drips', spread over a period of time.
It goes by many different names: drip marketing, automated email campaign, lifecycle emails, autoresponders, and marketing automation.

Some of the tasks that marketing automation has proven to be particularly effective for:
-Lead nurturing
-Welcoming
-On-board
-Abandoned shopping carts

What are the key elements of an email drip campaign?
1 – Triggers
Triggers are the events that set off your drip marketing campaign, either by causing a new lead to enter your pipeline or propelling them further down the funnel.
2 – Conditions. Before the engagement actions can start, a series of predefined conditions must first be met.
Here are some examples:
-sending an email as soon as a lead has clicked on a specific link;
-wait two days before sending the first email in the series.
3 – Actions
In drip marketing, actions refer to the actual engagement elements that create a connection between the company and its customers. Depending on the type of drip marketing in question, these actions can take the form of emails, text messages, social media direct messages or push notifications, etc.

How do you run an email drip campaign?

1 – Identify your target group
First of all, you need to understand the essence of your target audience: it is essential that you identify who they are, what they want, including what they don't realize they want, and how they behave. Drip marketing is based on two types of trigger-based segmentation. You can segment the audience by action triggers or demographic triggers.
2 – Construct your message
At this point you should start creating the first drafts. The content of your emails is based on the objectives of your campaign, you should be able to answer the question of what you want the recipients of your emails to do.
3 – Map your campaign
At this point you should have messages ready to be sent. The job now is to make sure they all flow together and don't contradict each other.
4 – Start the campaign
Once everything is ready, you can start the campaign and send emails.
A little professional tip: to get the best possible results and significantly increase your productivity, start your campaign using CRM software. Since we're talking about email drip marketing, the best option is of course a Gmail-based CRM system like NetHunt CRM. Sign up for a trial period, which is free for 14 days. https://pxlme.me/fsq1qG2m
5 – Assess the initial results and calibrate the campaign accordingly
Finally, you can rate your results. NetHunt CRM provides click-through rates and open rates for emails sent. It also gives you the ability to specifically rearrange segmentation groups so you can focus on fine-tuning messages and rewriting them if they aren't delivering the results you want.
