Meet Pragya, a B.tech & M.tech from Calcutta who is now pursuing her career in the IP industry. For more information, check out our Free Masterclass: https://event.webinarjam.com/register/84/1555mf31

Why she chose IPR as a career?
Pragya says that while she was doing her B.tech, she had IPR as a subject and she found it interesting from the beginning and discovered that this is an emerging field. So, once her M.tech was over, she started looking for institutes where she could learn more about IPR and patent drafting.

While searching, she came across IIPTA's JO-PAT (Job Oriented Patent Analyst Program), immediately joined and is now working with one of the top IP firms. She learned Patent Drafting, Patent Search, Indian Patent Law, US Patent Law and European Patent Law from IIPTA.
Pragya has a message for everyone, she says. Patent drafting is currently a very good and growing career for science students of any field.

IIPTA (Indian Institute of Patent and Trademark) guides their students to learn about the practical aspects of the patent industry to expand their area of expertise and also engage them to continue working in their domain.
