I'm finally reviewing the Yeelight LED strip, as Yeelight just announced that they're rolling out support for Apple Homekit! I was lucky enough to try this out, so let's see how this works!

The Yeelight LED strip is not new, but it has been improved considerably, especially compared to the first generation model. This second generation strip can be expanded with the (relatively cheap) expansion set. A 'remote control' is included, but you should note that this controller is attached to the LED strip.

You can also control it remotely with the Yeelight APP and the Xiaomi Mi Home APP. This allows for slightly more flexible control over hue and brightness, but you can also use it with voice assistants like Google Home and Homekit. Homekit will be compatible with most of Yeelight's products, which some people will be very excited about.

Overall I am very excited about the Yeelight /"Aurora/" light strip plus. I like the ease of use, I like the way it works
